Serious but not too serious

Hey there 🙋‍♂️ Imran here. Writing about yourself is weird, but I tried my best below.

I’m a Product Marketing Manager who’s somehow managed to blend a love for math, a knack for marketing strategy, a passion for podcasting, and a sprinkle of corporate savvy—all without losing my sanity (most days, anyway).

Turning Complex Stuff into Simple Strategies

In my day job, I get to take complicated ideas and turn them into strategies that (hopefully) make sense to everyone else. It’s like being a translator, but instead of different languages, it’s numbers, data, and creative brainstorming sessions. I help Go-To-Market as my stakeholders would say.

Educator Extraordinaire (or So I Try)

When I’m not navigating the corporate world, I’m sharing my podcasting wisdom with undergrads at Stony Brook University. Teaching is cool —especially when students remind me that I’m not keeping up with Gen Z as well as I think I am.

Entrepreneurial Adventures

I’m also dabbling in the world of startups, co-founding a SaaS company with my closest friend. It’s usually just going back and forth and thinking we’re on to something but trying to make sure our users think the same thing.

A Little About My Off-Duty Shenanigans

My high-school yearbook quote was “Education is important, but big biceps are importanter”. Though I spent a few years at Equinox learning biomechanics, kinesiology and proper nutrition - I’m still just that highschooler who looks forward to his next gym session and making gains.

Why I Do What I Do

At the end of the day, I’m driven by a genuine curiosity and a desire to make things better—whether it’s through innovative marketing, educating the next generation, or building something new from scratch. I believe that a little humor and a lot of passion can go a long way in achieving success and having fun along the way.

That’s me and my wife. She’s pretty great. Her names Syntia and she is by far my better half - no competition there 😅
